About the Instructor
Joe Kenlan of Joseph Kenlan Stoneworks has spent most of his career as a stonemason. He has been working with high-temperature masonry since his high school days working summers for his uncle’s refractory construction business.
In addition to ovens, Joe also builds high-efficiency masonry heaters and traditional indoor and outdoor fireplaces. He has taught several workshops on bread oven building in the area using both all-brick and cob techniques.
