Join Community Herbalist, Kim Calhoun for a fun, empowering, hands-on playtime with the plants:
Saturday, November 15th from 10-2p.m. @ The Plant (home of Piedmont Biofuels)
We’ll create (and consume) three different yummy herbal preparations to support our immune, nervous, endocrine, and digestive systems. Participants will go home with their own herbal goodies as well as recipes for self-care and healthy holiday gift ideas.

Kim, a Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher, will infuse the class with other simple stress reduction tips so that the holidays can be a spacious and resourced time of celebration and reflection.
Attendance is limited, so sign up early.
$35 includes workshop + goodies to go home with (please bring a brown bag lunch)
$45 includes the above + a catered sandwich from Chatham Marketplace*(see choices below)

Kim Calhoun shares her love and knowledge of the natural world in a playful, reverent, and accessible way, reminding folks of all ages that plants are our food, friends, medicine, and teachers. A native to North Carolina with deep roots in Chatham County, Kim has made a commitment to learning and growing in the wisdom of the plant world. Her apprenticeship since 2001 with respected herbalist, Suki Roth continues to be life-changing and heart-opening. Kim is available for plant walks, herbal wellness classes, and custom medicinal teas & tinctures. A Licensed Massage & Polarity Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, Kim is delighted to see clients in Pittsboro and Chapel Hill and offers teen yoga classes in Chatham County.
Kim is passionately engaged in sustainable living practices including running her car on used vegetable oil the last 4 years; studying sustainable agriculture, permaculture, and natural building; trusting in abundant love; and being present with each precious moment.
