Over 3,500 women are released from NC prisons each year. We are creating Benevolence Farm, a farm-based nonprofit that will serve some of these women, the community where the farm is based, as well as the local communities to which the women will eventually return. This presentation will discuss how this idea emerged, how it continues to evolve, and some of the fabulous help we’ve received along the way so far.
