We’re excited to be partnering with Briar Chapel again this year to celebrate Earth Day 2012!
This April 21st, Earth Day begins with a 5K race and a kids k through beautiful Briar Chapel, featuring music, post-race massages, and local food and drink! Register online today to reserve your spot!F

Registration includes a locally made organic cotton t-shirt by TS Designs. Advanced registration is $20 (t-shirt, goodie bag and Fullsteam beer ticket included) and $25 day of race. The chip-timed course is a USATF certified course at Briar Chapel, 1600 Briar Chapel Parkway, Chapel Hill, NC. Race day registration begins at 8:00am and race begins at 9.00am. Prizes awarded to top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers.

Later in the afternoon, Briar Chapel will be hosting an Earth Day Fair from 3-5pm where you can exchange your drink ticket for a beer from Fullsteam Brewery!
The event will feature exhibitions and demos from local artisans, businesses and organizations, athletes and artists, and Chatham County’s first ever Food Truck Rodeo, including Chirba Chirba, Parlour, Will & Pop’s, Fullsteam Brewery, and Carolina Brewery. There will also be bubbles, hoopers and face painting for the young and young at heart!
At dusk (6-8pm) there will be short films from Briar Chapel’s sustainability PSA contest and then a screening of Wall-E on the lawn! Guaranteed fun for all ages!
