Elderberries are America’s super fruit!  Rich in antioxidants, elderberries got their name from their youth sustaining properties. A shot of elderberry cordial a day keeps old age at bay!

Learn why Sambucus Canadensis is the native choice to grow in the US.  Every yard should have a few of these beautiful plants and farmers would do well to put in a patch of these high yielding perennials.

Join Rodger Lenhardt and Terry Durham of Elderberry Life and learn how to propagate, grow, maintain and use this super fruit by processing the berries into juice, jelly and herbal cordials.

About the Instructors

Terry and Rodger have been growing Elderberries for years with the largest commercial elderberry orchard in North America. They are excited to share their knowledge and practices with NC gardeners, market growers and farmers. Terry has been an Organic CSA farmer and market grower for 30 years. Rodger grew herbs and perennials in the eighties. Together they have joined together to grow this amazing crop.
