About the Instructor
Rebekah Hren has lived off-grid for a majority of the past decade, and will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of off-grid vs. grid-tied PV systems. Off-grid systems are relied on around the world for water pumping, lighting systems, and remote location applications. Grid-tied systems account for 95% of installed systems in the U.S. due to their higher efficiency and lower cost.
